Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Terix Studio iPhone app ("Terix Studio", "we", "us") processes, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: we process the descriptions and images you submit in order to generate your videos, we keep the minimum records needed to run credits and purchases, we show no ads, and we do not sell your data.

1. Data we process

Account

Terix Studio creates an anonymous account identifier on our servers when you first use the app. You do not need to provide your name, email address, or phone number to use Terix Studio.

Content you submit

• Video descriptions (prompts): the text you type to describe a video.
• Images: photos you optionally attach for image-to-video generation.
• Generated videos: the output produced for you.

Descriptions and images are sent over an encrypted connection to our backend and forwarded to our AI generation provider, currently Google's Gemini API, solely to produce your video. Generated videos are stored on our backend so you can preview and download them. We will update this policy if the generation provider changes.

Credits and purchases

We keep a ledger of credit additions, reservations, refunds, and spends so that your balance is always accountable. Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive purchase confirmations and entitlement status from Apple; we never see your payment card details.

Technical data

Our servers process basic technical information needed to operate the service securely, such as request timestamps and rate-limiting counters. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

2. What we use data for

• Generating the videos you request
• Maintaining your credit balance and delivering purchases
• Preventing abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Use
• Providing support when you contact us

We do not sell personal data, we do not show advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Who data is shared with

• Google processes your descriptions and attached images to generate videos, as our AI generation provider.
• Cloudflare hosts our backend and storage infrastructure.
• Apple processes payments and subscriptions under its own terms and privacy policy.

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service. We do not share your data with anyone else unless required by law.

4. Retention and deletion

• Generated videos and attached images are stored so you can access your library, and are deleted when you delete them in the app or delete your account.
• Credit and purchase records are retained while your account exists, and as required for accounting and fraud prevention.
• Deleting the app's data or your account removes the content associated with your anonymous identifier from our active systems.

You can delete individual videos in the app, use the deletion controls in Settings, or email us at tacticalcodeworks@hotmail.com and we will delete the data associated with your account.

5. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or a jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Our legal bases are performance of a contract (providing the service you request), legitimate interests (security and abuse prevention), and legal obligations (accounting). 6. Children

Terix Studio is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the associated data.

7. Security

All traffic between the app, our backend, and our providers is encrypted in transit. Provider credentials are held only on our servers, never inside the app. Access to stored content is controlled through short-lived signed links.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above, and note the change in the app where appropriate.
